One New Orleans restaurant owner found a new way to safely reopen amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Gris-Gris has been through many ups and downs the past few months. However, Executive Chef Eric Cook is launching a variety of exclusive in-restaurant dining experiences for small groups.
“So, to feel that spark again and go, man, let’s write a menu. Let’s do this, it came so natural. And I said hey, let’s take a shot at this,” Cook said.
This will be available to guests starting Aug. 7. It will run through August and through September.
Cook will give small groups the opportunity to book the entire restaurant. Guests will get a three or four course meal, designed specifically for the small group.

Exclusive dining experiences can include (but are not limited to):
• Seated dinners for up to 12 in Gris-Gris’ Samedi Room.
o Three course menus (with wine pairings) available for $100/per person.
o Four course menus (with wine pairings) available for $120/per person.
• Cocktail party or reception for up to 25 people in Gris-Gris’ upstairs dining room and balcony
(must adhere to all social distancing and mandated precautions).
• Food and beverage minimum: $1,200.
