World Honesty Day will be celebrated with a landmark event at Oscar Dunn Park in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
The gathering is part of a global movement uniting more than 1,000 churches and an estimated 1 million people. Participants will join in singing Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” and ringing bells as a demonstration of unity and a call for honesty, peace and an end to wars.
The celebration is part of a worldwide initiative that aims to inspire individuals and communities to embrace transparency and peace.
The event will take place at 2 p.m. on Sept. 21.
Those unable to attend in person can participate virtually by joining the livestream at worldhonestyday.com.
