Sunday will see a few chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms in your forecast.
Most of the area will end up staying dry once again, but areas that do get rain could see brief downpours. Any rain we get this afternoon and evening will be helpful. The majority of Southeast Louisiana is overdue for rain.
Highs today will be above average in the low 90s, feeling like the mid 90s.
Lows tonight fall to the 60s on the Northshore and the 70s on the Southshore.
More 90s and small chances for rain continue for the first half of the work week. A much better chance for rain is expected Thursday as a cold front moves in.
This could help to slightly lower our temperatures and humidity by next weekend.
