The New Orleans Police Department is investigating after a man was shot at a business in New Orleans East.
The shooting happened in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway around 11:30 a.m.
Police arrived and found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital by EMS.
The NOPD said officers do not believe the shooting is connected to a separate shooting on Wilson Avenue.
