TROPICAL STORM GABRIELLE:
Tropical Storm Gabrielle has formed in the Atlantic with winds at 45 mph. The storm is centered between the Cabo Verde Islands and the Windward Islands and is moving northwest at 22 mph.
Forecast models show Gabrielle could gradually strengthen and may reach hurricane status by the weekend as conditions become more favorable.
Forecast tracks keep the storms well east of the Caribbean but show a possible approach toward Bermuda next week.
IMPACT TO LOUISIANA:
No impacts are expected for the Gulf Coast.
