EASTERN TROPICAL ATLANTIC:
A tropical wave a few hundred miles east-southeast of the Cabo Verde Islands is kicking up scattered showers and storms. Conditions aren’t very favorable, so if this system does develop, it will likely happen slowly as it tracks west at 15-20 mph across the Atlantic.
