Someone in New Orleans is $50,000 richer after buying the winning a Powerball ticket in Monday night’s drawing.
Saba Food Mart on Allen Toussaint Boulevard sold the winning ticket.
The Powerball jackpot has jumped to $1.3 billion after there were no big winners in Monday’s drawing.
The next chance to win big will be Wednesday, the 41st drawing since the jackpot was last won in May.
