New Orleans police are investigating a deadly shooting on the Crescent City Connection that left one man dead and another wounded.
According to police, the victim was involved in a shootout with occupants of multiple other cars.
During the shooting, the victim sustained gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
Another victim arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle with at least one gunshot wound.
The shooting caused a traffic standstill westbound before the General De Gaulle exit.
The investigation is ongoing.
