A Heat Advisory will begin across all of southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi on Sunday from 10am-8pm. Heat index values will be as hot as 110.
An upper level high pressure system will strengthen and build across the region early next week. This will heat up our temperatures and heat index values.
High temperatures will rise to the mid and upper 90s Sunday-Tuesday with heat index values in the 110s.
Moisture will returns Wednesday leading to increased rain chances Wednesday-Friday of next week while also helping to cool our high temperatures back to near average.
