A Heat Advisory remains in effect for parts of southeast Louisiana, mainly on the Northshore and River Parishes after most of us have been dropped this morning. Heat index values could near 110 in these areas.
A Flood Watch is in effect for all of southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi, starting at 1pm today and going through 1am Saturday.
A level 1 marginal risk of flash flooding is in effect for all of southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi today.
Weather alert days are up today through Friday for the heavy rain and flood threat. Rain chances will significantly drop Sunday and into early next week with high temperatures going back up.
