A pep rally was held in Omaha Thursday for the LSU Tiger baseball fan base following Wednesday night’s down-to-the-wire win in the College World Series.
The pep rally was held at 3 p.m. in the Missouri/Platte ballroom of the Embassy Suites Hotel. All LSU Tiger fans were invited to attend.
You can watch the pep rally in the video player above.
The Tigers will now face Coastal Carolina in a best two of three series starting on Saturday.
If LSU wins, it will be their 8th national championship in the program history.
The Tigers, and the Chanticleers, have history. In 2016, Coastal Carolina eliminated LSU at home in the Baton Rouge Super Regional.
Jay Johnson also lost to Coastal in the 2016 National Championship game when he was the head coach at the University of Arizona.
Tickets to the matchup are not cheap.
The average cost for a ticket to the first game is around $780. The most expensive ticket will cost $1,600, and the cheapest ticket is around $250.
