St. Tammany Parish Water Works District has cancelled a boil water advisory for some areas in Covington.
The water district reported problems with the water supply system due to a crack fitting on Daisey St.
The streets under that were under a boil water advisory were Violet St., Pansy St., Daisey St., Jasmine St., Carnation St., Progress St., Success St., and Dahlia St.
Residents in these areas are now free to use their water normally.
