The Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing incident at the Orleans Justice Center.
OPSO says the incident happened around 11:21 a.m. and involved three individuals in custody, resulting in one person sustaining a stab wound.
The injured person was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The sheriff’s office is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Investigative Services Bureau detectives are working to determine the circumstances that led to the incident.
All individuals found responsible will be appropriately charged.
