Former LSU basketball star Angel Reese will be honored Thursday during halftime of a women’s basketball game.
Angel Reese’s first postseason ended just short of a championship.
“I’m really proud of the year I had,” Reese said. “Done a lot of great things this year and wouldn’t have been able to do it without this group. To come all the way to the Finals with this group says a lot. Not a lot of people have this opportunity to do it. I’d do it all over again with this group.”
Reese, a three-time All-Star, helped the Dream advance to the WNBA playoff semifinals for the first time since 2018 in her first year with the franchise.
She was also voted WNBA Defensive Player of the Year, receiving 46 votes from 72 media members.
LSU will play on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. in the PMAC against Texas Southern.
