The Historic New Orleans Collection in the French Quarter is set to undergo a $35 million expansion.
The project will restore seven historic buildings and five courtyards at its original Royal Street campus.
The project will transform more of the property into a public museum and educational space, including new galleries, interactive exhibits, and a historic house museum.
Construction is expected to take three years, with the campus scheduled to reopen in 2029.
