Louisiana State Police and other first responders are on scene at a partial eastbound I-10 closure on the Bonnet Carré Spillway.
State Police say that on I-10 eastbound near milepost 212, cargo detached from a commercial vehicle.
Traffic is being diverted to the shoulder.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and expect delays.
