Watching the Saints from home? Expect a cool start, plenty of sunshine and a comfortable afternoon across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
The Saints may be playing in Paris, but fans cheering them on here at home will have plenty of sunshine for their Sunday plans.
If you’re heading to an early watch party or watching outside, grab a light jacket. The morning starts cool before temperatures climb to afternoon highs of 76 to 83 degrees.
An east breeze and comfortable humidity will make it a nice day to spend time outside. No rain is expected, so outdoor plans after the game look good, too.
Cool again tonight
Temperatures fall after sunset. Lows will reach 50 to 53 on the Northshore and 59 to 62 on the Southshore.
Keep a light layer handy for an evening walk or an early start Monday.
Sunshine carries into the workweek
Monday stays mostly sunny, with highs between 76 and 81 degrees.
High pressure will keep much of the week dry. Expect more sunny days and cool nights, with afternoon highs generally returning to the lower and middle 80s later in the week.
Use caution with outdoor flames
Our long stretch of dry weather is raising fire concerns. Dry grass, low humidity and breezes can help fires spread quickly.
If cooking outdoors is part of your game day plans, follow local burn bans and never leave a hot grill unattended.
Boaters should also plan for gusty east winds and rough conditions over coastal waters. Small Craft Advisories cover most coastal waters through Monday morning and may be extended.
Tropics remain quiet
No tropical development is expected across the Atlantic, Caribbean or Gulf over the next seven days.
