The changes to our weather forecast over the next few days will be very subtle, as a small warming trend will start to develop today. High temperatures will likely be in the upper 70s on Wednesday, and then up near 80 degrees on Thursday and Friday. With the dewpoint temperatures staying in the 40s and 50s, morning fog is not likely through the weekend.
Temperatures will actually be a few degrees cooler Saturday and Sunday, and the breeze will increase just a bit as well. It will feel very comfortable both days this weekend with the chance for rain staying very low. Morning fog may return to our forecast by Tuesday of next week, but generally the next seven days should be relatively uneventful.
A preview of Halloween shows us the temperatures will likely be on the warm side, and a high temperature in the low to mid 80s on Halloween is not out of the question.
In the tropics, the area of cloudiness off the east coast of the United States still has a 40% chance of development. This is no threat to Louisiana, and it is moving from the unit away from the United States. Other than that, the travels are quiet.
