A burn ban is in effect for all of Washington Parish.
Due to dry and windy conditions, Parish President Randy Seal has issued a burn ban effective immediately.
The burn ban goes into effect immediately and will remain in place until rescinded.
Seal said the ban includes all open residential and commercial burning.
The ban does not include barbecue pits, grills, or fire pits.
