The New Orleans Police Department is asking the public for help locating an excavator that was stolen from Bullard Avenue.
Police say the equipment was stolen from the 5500 block of Bullard Avenue and is described as a 2005 yellow Caterpillar Model 330 CL excavator, bearing the serial number CAT0330CCDKY0368.
The victim reported last seeing the equipment at the location on Aug. 10, around 5 p.m., and then the equipment was later returned on Sept. 21, between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
The equipment was taken again from the location by an unknown individual operating a white semi-truck with an attached trailer.
