A recruit with the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office was arrested after she was accused of hitting someone in the head in a parking lot.
Brittany Dupree, an employee of the sheriff’s office, was taken into custody by the New Orleans Police Department on Oct. 6.
The incident happened on Oct. 5.
Dupree was placed on administrative leave and booked into the Orleans Justice Center.
