A gas leak reported in Metairie Tuesday morning has been contained.
The East Bank Consolidated Fire Department and Atmos Energy responded to the leak at 3633 Cypress Street.
Two blocks surrounding the leak were evacuated, but those residents are now allowed to return to their homes.
