The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an attempted ATM theft that happened in Gentilly.
Police say this incident happened on Friday around 6:30 a.m. at the Capital One Bank at 4201 Elysian Fields Ave.
Surveillance video shows a white Chevy Dually truck with no license plate arriving at the back.
Police say at least five male suspects exited the truck with a crowbar and attempted to open the ATM.
The men were unsuccessful, and no money was taken, but the ATM was damaged.
NOPD says the truck then left the bank, traveling toward Marigny Street, in an unknown direction.
This is an ongoing investigation.
