LA-1 reopens after oil spill in Lafourche Parish

An oil spill closed a portion of Louisiana Highway 1 Wednesday morning.

Louisiana Highway 1 was closed in the S-curve just north of the West Larose Lift Bridge. The road has since reopened.

The five gallons of oil has been cleaned and removed from the road.
