The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened in the B.W. Cooper area on Sunday afternoon.
Police say the shooting happened in the 3700 block of Thalia Street around 2:25 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who was shot multiple times.
EMS is en route to the scene.
