Due to a fire at the school on Thursday, Belle Chasse Elementary School will be closed tomorrow.
No cause of the fire was given but Plaquemines Parish Schools will provide additional information as it becomes available.
Belle Chasse Primary School was unaffected by the fire and will operate on its normal schedule.
Families, employees and members of the community are encouraged to monitor the district’s official communication channels for updates.
