The St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 responded to a residential structure fire in Slidell.
The fire occurred at a residence off Hoover Drive.
According to fire crews, one person was reported injured, and the patient was transported to a local hospital.
The streets were temporarily blocked but have since reopened.
The fire remains under investigation.
