New Orleans police confirm it’s an adult woman who was shot in the arm Sunday evening.
New Orleans police are investigating a shooting that occurred on the 700 block of Canal Street shortly before 7 p.m.
New Orleans EMS took the victim to a hospital.
Authorities have asked citizens to avoid the area at this time.
