A Heat Advisory remains in effect until 8pm this evening for heat index values up to 111 possible.
Another Heat Advisory will be in effect from 11am-8pm Thursday for heat index values up to 112 possible.
High temperatures Thursday will be in the mid 90s on the South Shore, upper 90s north of the lake. A few afternoon spotty downpours possible. Any storms that develop could contain gusty winds, frequent lightning.
Will continue to be downstream of upper level ridging to our west which will continue to keep us hot with above average temperatures triple digit feel like temperatures.
Rain chances may uptick slightly Friday afternoon/evening as a weak surface boundary inches closer to our region.
A daily slight chance of showers and thunderstorms will be possible with high temperatures in the mid 90s with heat index values in the triple digits over the next 7 days.
