A tropical wave that is coming off the coast of Africa this weekend bears watching according to the National Hurricane Center. They believe there is a 20% chance for development with this area of cloudiness over the next seven days.
However, this is a system that appears to be over 4000 miles away from New Orleans at the present time. Also, The forecast for the golf later in the week, has some very dry, dusty air that is expected to move in, and that should keep tropical activity to a minimum.
