New Orleans police are searching for three men in connection with an armed robbery in the West Lake Forest neighborhood.
Police say the victim was walking in the area of the 6700 block of Tara Lane around 12:15 p.m. on Friday when three unknown suspects approached her.
The suspects were attempting to take her fanny pack, and the woman says the suspects wrestled her down but were unable to take possession of her belongings.
A couple of minutes later, the same suspects chased her down when she was leaving a nearby apartment, took her fanny pack, and fled the location.
The victim advised that one of the suspects was armed with a gun during the first incident but did not present a gun during the second incident.
