The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office has determined that remains found in Algiers over the weekend are not human.
The New Orleans Police Department announced Saturday that the remains were found in the 2600 block of General Meyer Avenue.
On Monday, the Coroner’s Office determined that the remains were likely of a canine.
