Barbie has released a doll inspired by former LSU Women’s Basketball star and current Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese.
Barbie released photos of the doll, showing Reese in its signature pink-colored basketball uniform.
The doll features Reese’s number, which is number 5, as well as her staple headband that she is seen wearing during games.
The doll was released on Barbie’s social media pages with this message:
“An Angel, on and off the court Meet the Angel Reese Barbie doll, honoring the breakout star rewriting the narrative for athletes.”
Reese also released her own photos, saying, “This Barbie Knows Ball!”
She also teased a collaboration with Reebok coming on Aug. 3.
Reese’s connection with Barbie goes back to her time at LSU. Her nickname was “Bayou Barbie,” which was given to her as she helped lead LSU to a National Championship.
