A recall of nearly 1.6 million dozen eggs produced in Texas is affecting Louisiana and other states due to potential Salmonella contamination.
The recall includes white shell and brown cage-free eggs with best-by or sell-by dates between July 20 and August 17, 2026.
Many of the eggs were sold at Kroger and Brookshire grocery stores in Louisiana, Mississippi, and several other states.
There have been no reported illnesses linked to the recalled eggs, according to Midwest Poultry.
