This Sunday July 26th, The New Orleans Jazz Club will honor lifesaver and trombonist Alex Holmes.
As the Lead Cath Lab Tech at Touro, he has helped to save countless lives for nearly 40 years. On top of that, Alex is also a giver of life, having donated more than 50 gallons of blood in his lifetime, and he has been celebrated and awarded for his actions.
Alex is also the trombonist with The New Orleans Ragtime Band, and the original trombone player with The Assunto Dukes, A Dixieland Tribute.
Sunday, July 26th will be the last time in a while that Alex will get to play with the New Orleans Jazz Club, and all music fans are invited to thank Alex for his service to our community, as well as his fine trombone playing.
Please come to the friendly environment at Mo’s Chalet in Metairie Sunday from 2-6 pm, hear great authentic New Orleans Jazz, and salute Alex Holmes with a warm handshake and cold drink!
