Gov. Jeff Landry and other state officials are holding a news conference Wednesday ahead of Tropical Storm Bertha’s landfall.
Tropical Storm Bertha is expected to make landfall in southeast Louisiana Wednesday afternoon.
In the National Hurricane Center’s 1 p.m. advisory, the National Hurricane Center said Bertha was moving west-northwest at 7 mph, with maximum sustained winds at 45 mph.
The system’s pressure is 1000mb. It remains lopsided with the worst weather on the south side of the system.
