The Jefferson Community Band invites you to a free concert Thursday, July 16th, which will celebrate 250 years of American music.
The special guest performer and master of ceremonies will be former WDSU alum Norman Robinson, who will be featured on solo Euphonium.
From the early days of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, to the music of John Philip Sousa, then the big band era of World War II, to rack and roll and the melodies so many of us recognize, music has been an integral part of fabric of the United States.
The concert starts at 7:00 at The Jefferson Performing Arts Center. Abundant free parking is available.
