The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting Sunday morning in the Florida Avenue neighborhood.
Police say a man was transported privately to a local hospital for treatment of at least one gunshot wound.
The shooting happened at Piety and North Dorgenois Streets, with the initial notification made at 5:07 a.m.
