The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a student-athlete in connection with a battery investigation involving a dating partner.
Deputies say Kadan Lewis, 22, turned himself in on Thursday after a woman contacted TPSO to report that she was attacked by Lewis at his home on Bridget Road in Hammond.
Following the investigation, a warrant was obtained for Lewis’ arrest. He is being charged with one count of 2nd degree battery, false imprisonment, and simple criminal damage to property.
This is an ongoing investigation.
