Louisiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the New Orleans Police Department for a missing woman.
State police say Rose Marie Melendez, 82, was last seen at 1139 Napoleon Avenue in New Orleans around 2:30 p.m., and they received the request to issue a Silver Alert around 7:19 p.m.
Police say Melendez has brown eyes and salt-and-pepper hair. She’s 5’5” and weighs approximately 129 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a pink jacket, a multi-colored shirt, black pants, Halloween socks, and black shoes.
Her family is reporting that she has a medical condition that may impair her judgment.
