The Louisiana State Police are investigating a deadly crash in Franklinton.
The crash happened on June 7 at 1:20 p.m.
According to Troopers, the multi-vehicle crash included an off-road vehicle on Louisiana Highway 25 near East Daniels Road.
Timothy Blackwell, 48, of Folsom, was killed in the crash.
According to State Police, Blackwell was driving the off-road vehicle in the northbound shoulder of Louisiana Highway 25 when a 2004 Saturn struck Blackwell.
State Police say Blackwell entered the northbound lane when he was struck by the car.
Blackwell died on the scene, according to State Police.
The passenger in the off-road vehicle and the driver of the Saturn were injured and taken to an area hospital for treatment.
