A spokesperson with the Southwest Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East confirms Superintendent Rondeno has not been terminated.
The Authority declined to comment further on this personnel matter, but added that the Authority remains focused on its mission to reduce flood risk and protect the people, property, and critical infrastructure in Orleans, St. Bernard and East Jefferson parishes.
