The Touchdown Club of New Orleans held their 52nd annual “Rookie Super Boil” Wednesday night.
This has become a very fun event for the rookies each season.
For most of the 2026 draft class, it’s their first chance to eat crawfish.
Fourth round pick Bryce Lance, who’s from Minnesota, had his first taste of crawfish, giving them a 10.
Sixth round pick Barion Brown also enjoyed crawfish for the first time in his life, but there was a slight twist with this story.
Brown doesn’t eat seafood.
The biggest twist in his story is he went to LSU for one season and didn’t go to any crawfish boils.
First round pick Jordyn Tyson got to eat crawfish for just the second time in his life.
Second round pick Christen Miller and fourth round pick Jeremiah Wright were right at home since they’ve had crawfish a few times.
The Rookie Super Boil was also a chance for the Who Dat Nation in attendance to help the the rookies peel crawfish, get autographs and take pictures.
