The New Orleans Police Department has arrested four people in connection with a shooting and drug investigation.
Those arrested were Shawn Major, Tron Hughes, Corey Major and Lewis Wallace.
The arrests happened May 13 in the 1400 block of Annette Street. According to police, officers confiscated seven guns, fentanyl, meth and marijuana. Officers also found more than $8,700 in cash.
The arrests were connected to a drive-by shooting that happened April 3 in the 1700 block of North Claiborne Avenue, according to police.
Shawn Major is facing charges of aggravated second-degree battery, possession of a firearm while in possession of a dangerous controlled substance, and possession of methamphetamines and fentanyl.
Hughes is facing two counts of aggravated second-degree battery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and obstruction of justice charges.
Corey Major is facing charges of aggravated battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Wallace is facing charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm while in possession of a dangerous controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl and possession of a stolen firearm.
All were booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
