The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office says it has received multiple weather-related reports as storms moved through the area Saturday morning.
Officials report trees down, in some cases with power lines also down, at Whiskey Lane and Johns Lane in Tickfaw, as well as at Kohnke Hill Road and Monteleone Lane in Hammond.
High water has also been reported on Highway 1061 from Highway 440 to Highway 1057 in the Wilmer-Kentwood area, and on Highway 51 south of Kentwood Brick in Kentwood.

Closed due to high water:
- Adams Road at Jefferson Court
- Pleasant Ridge Road at Pleasant Ridge Extension
- Davis Road near Adams Road
- Easley Road at Wesley Road in Loranger
- School Road in the 16300 block in Loranger
Downed trees:
- Chapel Road in Tickfaw
- Oilfield Road at Hillary Simmons Road in Wilmer
Downed trees with power lines:
- Illinois Jones Road at Johnny’s Lane
- Kohnke Hill at Tantillo Lane
- Graves Road in Ponchatoula
