L.B. Landry Senior High School announced the selection of the Harvey native and WDSU anchor today on their social media page.
Before he joined WDSU, Forges was a National Correspondent for CNN Newsource and had stints as a reporter in Miami, Florida and Montgomery, Alabama.
Darryl is a proud graduate of the University of West Georgia, and takes pride in mentoring future journalists, giving back to the community
The school posted, “We are proud to welcome Darryl Forges as he shares words of inspiration with the Class of 2026!”
