Mandeville High School is celebrating the academic achievements of 168 students who scored 30 or higher on the ACT, including five students who earned a perfect score of 36.
To recognize their milestone and incentivize students, the school set up a wall displaying pictures of those with high scores and offered the best parking spots as rewards.
“You get to paint the space, and that kicked it into gear for the competitive side of wanting to get on the wall, but as a senior, you get primo parking,” said Christian Monson, Principal of Mandeville High School.
The school said the success reflects the hard work and dedication of students, the support and guidance of faculty, and a community that prioritizes public education and achievement.
