The City of New Orleans is inviting residents in New Orleans East to participate in a community engagement process.
The initiative “Connecting New Orleans East” is focused on improving mobility, safety, and connectivity along and across the I-10 North and South service road corridors in the East.
Potential enhancements include shared-use paths, upgraded bus stops, improved lighting, landscaping, pedestrian signals, and enhanced crosswalks.
Community feedback is encouraged, and the city is asking residents to complete the community survey before April 10.
The feedback will be used to determine where improvements are most needed and how the safety features will be implemented.
Click here to fill out the survey. For questions or accessibility assistance, please contact connectingNOE@nola.gov or visit the project webpage.
