High-speed racing is headed to Jefferson Parish.
The second annual New Orleans Powerboat Grand Prix returns April 11-12, bringing powerboat racing back to Lake Pontchartrain.
The big event is presented by Harvey Gulf International Marine, Councilman Hans Liljeberg and Jefferson Parish Council District 5.
The event promises a weekend of racing, entertainment and family-friendly activities.
The event site is on the levee between Bonnabel Boat Launch and Bucktown Harbor Park. General admission is free. VIP hospitality tickets will be available soon for premium race viewing.
