We’re inching closer to Easter Sunday and there are still chances for showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the morning.
First, let’s start with the cold front that’s moving in late Saturday into early Sunday. There’s a chance for a few strong to severe storms Saturday night into Sunday morning as that front moves through.
The rain and storms will continue into Sunday morning, so Easter morning services will be on the rainy side for some. However, there is the possibility that rain could start to taper off by the afternoon with a few lingering rain chances through the evening.
One of our hi-res models shows rain and storms moving through early Sunday morning.
By 10am, most of the rain and storms have moved out as the front continues to move through.
By 2pm, some scattered showers are still possible, otherwise, expect cloudy skies.
The rest of the day will be cloudy with an isolated shower still possible.
